Harry Baker and Martin Wroe

Poetry as a Way Of Life

Saturday 18th September, 14:00 – 15:30

Harry Baker will read some of his poems and Martin Wroe will read some of his poems. Together they may throw some light on the very promising title of this session which they have just come up with (at the time of writing, four months ago.)

Harry Baker is the world poetry slam champion and a maths graduate – both help him process the world around him. Some year 8 students recently described him as “Funny, but like… Inspiring.” He’s really missed live gigs so is especially excited about this. Martin Wroe’s most recent book, written with Malcolm Doney, is ‘Lifelines, Notes on Life & Love, Faith & Doubt.’ He was late to understand that religions are poems and tries to write one most days.
