Scratch Messiah
SATURDAY 31ST MARCH
Conductors: Mark Tinkler, Michael Copley and Helen Robbins
On the last day of the festival, we will present a participative performance of the Easter music (Part 11) from Handel’s oratorio The Messiah. Featuring great choruses, such as Behold the Lamb of God, the Amen Chorus and the Hallelujah Chorus, we invite members of the Newtown and St Paul’s communities to join the Mawson Road Community Choir and Orchestra for a uniquely creative day of interactive and joyous music– making. Come and take part – as a singer (any age), orchestra musician (any instrument) or audience member.
